Adding USB ports to Via mobo's

So does anyone know where i can get the connectors to add in additional USB 2 ports onto my SP13000??? I don't even know where to start looking for something like this. I need to either add in USB ports onto the mobo or to get a powered USB hub and run a switch to it to turn it on and off.

    TIA

    -Mike

Try heading over to www.frontx.com they have a great selection of USB ports and ways to put USB into just about any application. Their prices are very reasonable too in my opinion. You could also try www.pricewatch.com they have just about anything computer related with really good prices. I have used both a couple times now and both sites give good results.

looks pretty good. Looks small enough to even fit in an Ampie case too.

I use extension cables from desktop PC ( I had e few from old moterboard). Ussualy they are installed in 1 PCI slot hole and for one slot providing 2 USB ports . I used 3 extensions for 6 additional USB ports:

Am I wrong if I say that it has male connector? I can see one pin.

MB needs different connector for USB pins - female . Anyway - you need cable or a lot of space above motherboard.
