    Audi 100 cruise control hack :)

    I changed my turn signal leveler(the arm) yesterday into one with cruise control, the one i had was broken.

    I dont have cruise on my car, so i thought that i'd use the buttons to control the pc

    there is a way for this huh? via the comport or something, i dont use it.

    there is a button on the end of the switch, and a button on the front of the switch, wich can be moved left <-> right and far right where the switch stays, in the two other positions the switch returns to the normal position... good for next track or fast forward?

    i'll attach a image to describe how it looks(roughly), made in CAD!

    Jol,

    there must be some kind of contacts (a wire with a connector hanging maybe) at the other end of the lever that would plug somewhere in the wheel column, if your car had the cruise control feature.
    Use a multimeter to find out if and which of these contacts short (close circuit) when you press the button or move the switch. If it is simple like that you could use this lever instead of custom buttons, by rewiring them to an old keyboard controler.

    yeah, that's where the problems start, I also want to use a numeric keyboard, so I wondered if there was anyone who knew how to control winamp from the comport
