Audigy 2 NX Sound Card USB Problem

Hey everyone. I have an Audigy 2 NX Sound card with one serious problem, the USB port doesn't seem to be working. The system powers one and all the lights come on and all the buttons even work but it is not recognized by the computer. I have tested this with multiple computer and cables so I know it has to be the unit itself. Would anyone know how I could test the unit or how I could get this fixed? I don't have a warranty on this anymore so that is out of the question. Thanks for you help in advance.

Nope I am not. At the moment I am just trying to get it to work with regular Windows XP. I have tried it on multiple computers so I know for sure its a hardware issue with the actual device. Any ideas?

I have that unit and I love it! I am really happy with the sound quality of the Audigy 2 nx! Do you have a good 5v power lead going to it? I think it will not function correctly without it. Also try to reinstall the drivers for it, creative drivers can be a little bit moody sometimes.

The problem I am having is that it is not being recognized at all. I have checked both my power and drivers multiple times. I know for a fact that it is the unit itself but need some help figuring out how I would go about fixing it.

Other then opening it up and doing internal repairs or (better) calling Creative and getting a RMA number, what else could anyone say to help you?

Buy another one and plug it in to the same power supply and cables and see if it works.

I was hoping someone had a similar problem (even with a different device) and would have had some insight and a fix. Just thought I would give it a try and see.
