Thread: EPIA 13000 Video Problem

Ok guys.. this is starting to get annoying... every time I fix one problem another one comes along...

Anyway, here's the deal.. for some time now my PC would not show anything on the screen.. it would go straight into stand by as if there was no video output.. that was with my AMD system (that was working for about a month until my PSU started acting up) Well I replaced my PSU and that's when the screen did not want to turn on anymore. So I thought it was the Motherboard and I bought this EPIA 13000. I hook it up, and what do I see? the same result!!

Now I"m thinking it might be the Screen itself that is having problems... I take it and hook it up to my home PC and now it's working again!!!

I took the PC into my house and hooked it up to my regular monitor and it was not showing anything... so now I'm all confused.. I find it really unlikely that 2 different motherboards would do the same thing (one brand new, and the other already working with an OS installed).

Any help would be appreciated!

Are you able to see the pre boot post? If so, start tapping the F8 key after you see the BIOS type, drive line-up, etc. Once the F8 menu comes up select "Enable VGA Mode"

No, I don't see ANYTHING... as soon as the monitor turns on, it says "PC", and then "Shut off" and goes to stand by (green LED blinking). By the way, it's a Xenarc 700TSV

even my home monitor wont wake up when I turn the PC with it plugged in

I'm having the same problem with my M10000. Don't know wtf is going on, I tried reseting the bios or cmos with the jumpers in the mobo, still nothing. Changed power supplies, went to all video outputs, still nothing. It powers on though, I can see it do that. The processor fan turns on, the HD spins.

Does that make sense to anyone?
