Well I unfortunately dont have an answer for you as in regards to where to shop, but I have seen several others from austraila with the same problem, maybe you could get in touch with some of the more popular vendors/manufacturers and find out about opening an online store? Seems to be an untapped market over there. I know its not something that will make you rich, but maybe you can make enough from it to pay for your carPC adventures, and help others find stuff locally? good luck in your search !
Sell me your stuff.. please see what i'm looking to buy

yeah its been pretty fruitless so far, most sites are more about big wheels and bucket seats

http://www.i-onsystems.com/ is the go, still looking for an Australian Xenarc stockist, but thats a start. I dont shop at auspcmarket, cheap if you live in sydney, but their long range postage is fagged, and their prices could be better

    I found these guys http://www.brashimports.com.au
    they sell on ebay
    located east of melbourne(caulfield north)

prices is the cheapest I've found compared to all the other overseas shops, and items are already in aus so there is no chance of getting hit with import tax.

never delt with them yet, but from what i read on the site, they seem like a decent company.

however, what do they have for sale? the lilliput gl710, with a 76 page thread on mp3car complaining abt this product then I'm hesitant. don't know if the new silver ones has all the problems fixed.

just wish this company sold xenarc too!

jaycar man. they have the super 7" touchscreens for $350 now (apparently same panel as xenarc) You will need a trade card or a mate with a trade card to get this price

they also sell excellent laptop DC-DC power supplies, and have a 300W DC-DC ATX power suppy in the works.

They pretty much have all the other connectors / wiring / general junk you will need

I have bought lilliputs off ebay out of hong kong in the past, never had any issues with them
