    Playstation 2 Power Question

    Does anyone know if a playstation 2 (slim version) will work of a regulated 12 Volt source? I have an extra computer power supply (for the regulated 12 volts) will this work?

    I've read that the ps2 is powered by 8.6 volts ?

    Any info on this? Thanks!
