    onboard sound

This is my 2nd build- I had everything set up no porblem right. Well, I decided my migrus needed better video surpport so I go a 6200 pci video card and removed my philips 705 sound card. Now my onboard sound is causing a ground loop somehow. I only have 3 plugs onboard so I use 2 channel mode. Is there something about splicing 2 channels into a 4 channel amp using rca adaptors? I have in-line isolators that fixed the problem before, but nothing seems to be working. I'm hoping this just goes away with a better usb sound card. Any suggestions? Thanks

external usb card is the way to go. a soundblaster mp3 is great for that, otherwise you could go for the more pricey audigy.
