    Cool SBC #3.....And Scan Converter!

Ok just keeping u guys up to date... this is the final chapter

As you all know i decided to keep the Wafer-7850 mb and the TV board (not that i will EVER use it). At the same time i Ordered the aitech max view scan convert.... at approximately 11am today, it arived....i quickly hooked it up and wala from PC being on, it show on the TV. I just have to say one thing this scan converter resolution is WAY BETTER than my ATI AIW tv out card. YES i mean it. Anyway to my even amazement, i quickly loaded up DVD and ofcourse it worked, but here is the amazing part of it. The clarity (color wise) was 100% accurate compare to what was showing on my monitor. Also keep in mind it came with a cdrom and i didn't even touch or install anything. I am so glad i didnt get the Web cable version, i can just imagine me constantly adjusting ****...oooh the text on the TV was READABLE, yes readable!!!!

Today i have the digital camera with me so u know i will take pics of the board size by size with this thing and it out of the case...u dont really think i will put the case in my DIN size box now do you

    hehe replying again..

I find that odd, since when I first started doing mp3cars, people always said not to use scan converters cuz they sucked. But i had to since i was using a laptop and it rocked. No one believed me back then =(.
    SO yeh..scan converters = good.

    Go abcd.

It might be worth compessing the pics a bit, I almost killed the sever.

Is that a flash socket on the underside of the board, and if so is it bootable?

Bit confussed, why do you have a TV out when your going to us a scan converter, have I missed something here?

I've been reading the posts, and I understand why your going for the scan converter, but why not return the TV out card as well? Or does the TV out card come with the the Wafer as standard?
