lol.. i love the answer ot this one. :P more then likely you havent went into control panel>power settings>shutdown computer when power button pressed.
as long as its all wired right, that is probably what your missing.
Im havin little trouble getting this feature 2 work...I have everything connected like its suppose to be.
I have it on "mode 1" for 5sec/ 45sec.
Right now im stiln n the testin stage for the pc so i just have the power j1 &j3 goin to the battery and the black wire to ground.
Ive also tried other jumper settings w/ no luck. Suppose the board doesnt even come on.
Anyone know what i can do??

Just need to confirm that you have the wire going from J8 to your MB.Originally Posted by canibusfan

This may sound a little dumb, but make sure that you have a good ground. I've seen too many case to mention were the problem was a bad or intermittent ground.

well when i plug the power wires up i get power like im suppose to and I hit my little startup button and it comes on fine, same far as shutdownin down. But when the computer is off there still is the light on the MB. I've tried d the recommend jumper settings but still no luck.Originally Posted by Wiredwrx
Dude, you have to be more descriptive. What power wires. Don't assume you did it like you are supposed to, tell us what you did, specifically. J8 to the MB, J1 to constant power, etc.....Originally Posted by canibusfan
What little start up button are you refering to. What light is still on on the MB. What are you doing specifically. Have you disconnected the "accessory" wire from the power source??

I am actually having the same issue.
J1-- battery positive
J3-- ignition
J4-- battery negative
I checked all wiring with a meter and everything's fine.
Jumper setting on J10 set to "B" and I don't get any reaction. When I click "POWER" on the box it works as normal computer would.
I just also re-read a manual but didn't find anyuthing I might have overlookedwhat to do what to do
Sorry, currently on my BB, so can't look it up myself, but what is "B" on J10 do? Do you have the wire running from the M2 to the "switch" header of the MB. Have you tried "turning" one end??
What do you mean when you say that you "click "power" on the box" it works. Sounds like you made a very NOOB mistake, because the M2 can't turn on you computer if the "power" button is connected to the MB instead of the wire from the M2 :shakeshead:

Ohh.... so I have reroute wire from power button to m2? I hope that is what it is, let me recheck everything now.
And if that is a noob mistake, there is no surprise, I am one.
And finally "B" on J10 means 5sec/2hr startup/shutdown configuration.
Thanks I hope you pointed me to right direction, will let you know when I check.
