    cover dash in leather

    Can someone tell me how I should do to get the best result?

    talk to 2k1civic.... he just did his dash panel and it looks very well done from what the pictures show...

    you need HIGH GRADE stuff- sa PLYABLE as bossible so you can do the curves- go to your local car audo place- find out what they use as far as adhesive- spray down the part you want to cover- let it get tacky then START STRECHIN!!! its hard to do a dyi on it- it is soooo diffrent for each application

    Brings it to an uplholstry place!

    I opted to just bring it in and pay the money. That way you can get a factory look. IF you are right on cash, go on the net an search for tips....you want to make sure its tight...I see the pros use this big wand with steam and such to soften the leather/vinyl, etc to stretch it.

    jag tänkte köra med en textdisplay i främre utblåset och styra med farthållarknapparna(har ej farthållare, men styrning till det på blinkersspaken)

    eventuellt ska jag byta bil snart, så jag har inte tryckt in allting ännu...
