    heat disapation idea

hi guys, ok so my setup is basically a laptop in the boot of the car, however i have noticed that even after 30 minutes driving the machine gets very hot, so ive been exploring ways to cool it, what im thinking is getting a thickish sheet of copper and attaching velcro to both the copper and the machine it in order to keep it in place, and then attach some softer material to the underside of the metal to provide some additional shock resistance

does anyone have any views on this, or any alternative of dispearsing some of the heat emitted by the machine?

    thanks

Buy a laptop cooler pad, or replace the original heat paste with some AS5.

A trunk doesn't have all that much air circulation in it. I would think a fan would work like a charm. If you could figure out a way to port it to the cabin of the car I think you would see an improvement. Whether it's pulling air into the trunk or pushing it out of the trunk, it would be getting fresh air in there. Mounting it so it is directed AT the laptop would be of benefit too I would imagine.
