Just wondering if anybody has tried out one of the HDTV USB tv tuners in a car and whether it would hold a signal while in a car. I was told you need a dual antenna to be able to track a good signal in a car with a TV tuner but this type is digital. Any comments?

This has been discussed before. A digital HD signal requires a direct line-of-sight to the source antenna for good reception. Kinda hard to achieve in a moving car. Unless you can rig up a rotating antenna on your roof and some means of constantly keeping it aimed at the source, based on your location and heading.

This type of TV will lose reception as soon as the ariel moves so no watching TV on the move
