Problem is that my both headrest monitors are NOT VGA but RCA
i was referring to things that are usb, such as tv tuners and im sure there is simple, in fact i know there is special video in/out usb that is used for editing, and im sure you can find it cheap enough
something like this, but its usb to vga

i did a bit more searching here you go PC to TV for 40 bucks not bad?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815260011
or this, i think its a passive vga to tv so no software needed but costs more
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815323003
or look at other products
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...nd&Order=PRICE
im sure you can connect as many as you wantits a bit bulky but then again... its cheap.. maybe they have simple usb to svideo or composite out some other place, but this is old tech just have to search

Gods right foot!!
Renault Grand Espace 3.5 V6
those things are not bad, problem is that my Mainboard only has one VGA. that means that I can only clone the image to the headrest screens.
And that's not the solution I am searching for.
the only way I can use one of those devices is If I find a mainboard who has 2x VGA, or vga+DVI.
Then I can for example use VGA for the touchscreen and DVI or second VGA to show the movies on the second monitor by using one of those devices.
Onboard VGA must then be Nvidia or ATI because they are able to do streach the desktop

well i have the board, im just waiting on a copper HS for the cpu, i hacked an old socket A copper base HS with AL fins, and spent a day or more on a mounting system for the south and north bridge, i heard that the thing would overheat, so i didnt bother with stock HS, though the heating goes away with fan, for car reasons i went with much bigger and copper base HS
ok so i had it mounted and it worked ok, seems though that even with AMD stock HS the south north bridge chipsets are still warm, but get this... at a room temp reported by mobo not sure how accurate but it stated 95F it was warm as the heat was just on, the MOBO was just in the open, the south/north bridge read at about 125F while in BIOS i loaded windows and it drops way way down, BUT when gaming the temp only went up to 125-127Fso im pretty happy thats pretty good i think
i can feel the HS being warm, and thus its doing good job with the heat transfer, i wish i had a solid copper HS for it, even with the small fan, but its very limited room for HS on the chipset and one on the CPU, pretty much i was forced to by the smallest HS for CPU, i went with a cheap thermaltake one all copper, i will lap the cpu and HS too, the north/south chipset HS was lapped from the past
so with playing UT2004 for more then 30min with just bots at norm details on a 19" the temp stated the same as it would be when in bios, seems that drivers power down the cpu and chipset when in windows and both run nice and cool, when no load on graphics HS was well cold
boot up is really fast with just sata 2.5 drive, the bios doesnt even post only the logo of the mobo shows for like 1-2 sec and then goes directly to windows loading screen
and i havent undervolted my cpu, but it seems that i can do it, sad that i cant undervolt and underclock the IGP, i would love to do that so it doesnt warm up that bad when summer hits, they only have O/C options for IGP
this was with 800mhz ram 2x2gb, and i give 512mb to IGP and windows shows 3.2gbso only losing a bit of ram due to limitation of 32bit xp
i will have pics up, some time later maybe in my new project sectionwith this minix mini-itx case
everything while running in bios seems to run at full load so to speak? i think its true for all mobo's the 65w cpu was reading i think a bit too high on the voltage 1.35? im more then sure it can go a lot lower, anyway the HS for the power transistors was pretty warm, i wonder if i can put a better HS when cpu is on full load, i might lap it, and put some nice artic silver, i wish they would have 2x high HS, it would work just fine, like my south/north bridge HS is as high has the stock amd HS, which is just perfect
maybe some long tall copper transistor type HS's will work better? like the have for some video cards...
either way undervolting CPU will solve that heat/power draw case
still cpu i think was about on par with the chipset temps if not lower in bios
Anyone using the Jetway board - Jetway NC92-N330 mini-ITX Intel Atom 1.6GHz + ICH7 compared to the Intel board Intel D945GCLF2 mini-ITX Atom 2x1.6Ghz ?
It has the same processor but any drawbacks with Jetway boards? The reason I'm looking at the Jetway board is the daughtercards (to keep my pcmcia card).
Gee
Just thought I'd drop my 2 cents.
I am in the process of getting all the parts for carpc and I got JetWay JNC81-LF motherboard (for AMDs). I had a hard time trying it to get it to start, so I finally got an RMA for it from newegg. It's either the board fried or cpu or it doesn't like the cpu (Athlon 4850e), although it states as being supported on jetway support website.
I've searched this site, but noticed no mention of it. It's a pretty nice board. Price aside (duh mini itx), it's got everything one would need to run a kick *** audio processor: pci slot, which is not avail on many other itx boardsand supports a pretty hefty cpu, which would be of help for this application
.
I also chose this board because of the tests Ive seen for 780 chipset. Seems as if it consumes less power than its competitors.
The doc booklet is a bit dry in comparison to what I'm used to see from ASUS. Anyway, hope the new board that comes in will eventually start up lol... A bit disappointed with this experience.
