its ok it better be cheap, sub 100 if not its not worth it much, because any other amd/ati combo will be way more then what you need but at least you will get what you payed for, and you can always tweak it

a BE amd chip u can undervolt and underclock to be a mobile chip and its far cheaper then anything that intel has and far more powerful then any atom

no because you get a high clocked cpu that is say 45 or 65w stock, but you run it say 1ghz lower and undervolt it almost to the min of your mobo and then bingo you have a mobile chip, still much faster then any atom

i have seen ppl do this also even with quad core, but i think that is pointless 2 cores is more then enough, 1 is so so

Is this considered a bad board or not appropriate for Carputer application? I think it's been out for a while and there's only 2 mentions of it throughout the entire forum and they're by the same individual.

If anyone has any thoughts about it, I'd be curious to hear them. From what I've read, it's a great mobo, but I'd like to hear some other opinions.

i havent used 1ghz ram, cause the mobo i was talking about was fit with (800mhz) x2, but now there are low wattage x3's and x4's which is really nice, no mater what anyone says that extra cache and extra cores help in boot up time as well as faster ram ht etc...

x3's and x4's are now cheap enough to use and low power enough 65w to use in carpc
