I'm just finishing a Kenwood DDX 7035 install in my 04 Boxster 986 (It took me a year to get around to installing it!).
Seems like a great unit - The DVD and MP3 function is cool but I'm currently living in the middle east and would like to hook up some sat nav. I know Kenwood does not make maps showing the UAE, however does anyone know if:
1) You can hook up other vendor units?
2) You can go with the standard Kenwood GPS and somehow use your own base
...I love the French language...especially to curse with...Nom de Dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperies de connards d'enculés de ta mère. You see, it's like wiping your *** with silk, I love it.
MP3Car.com. My Kenwood DDX 7035 is a MP3 player for cars so I thought with 70 concurrent people using the forum last night, there was a reasonable probability that on a busy board of MP3 car people someone may have had a similar problem.
Yeah, the domain name is misleading to many.
However, the focus of these forums is putting full-blown PCs in your rides, instead of the units that the manufacturers push on us.
Lets just say we want more than the average car electronics consumer.
For answers to your question, your best bet would be a car audio-specific forum or maybe even contacting the manufacturer directly.
