    there are (3) 9 pin headers on the motherboard, right next to the PCI slot. You have to get the connector for it this one

    I tired to put this thing in Standby...and it only supports S1 (suspendstate 1), cpu and fan is still on. I thought it would have S3, which only the ram is on.

    I have a Jetway Hybrid J7F2WE1G5D Mini-ITX the bios on jetway is ver.01 can I use bios A5 for this board.

    yes, you can update to A5, make sure you disable flash protect in the bios

    What is the advantage of updating the bios? I have ver.01 as well, but if it ain't broke, why fix it?

    AcuraTLFan, thx for the usb header info. My local ma & pa shop had one of those cheap that works great!

    upgraded bios = support for newer / different stuff.

    Installed the new bios,no problems.Boot up showing the actual cpu c7-d 1.5gz.I didn't notice any other changes,has any one of you?
    Has anyone installed XPe in their carputer.

    Most bios changes are not notiable....update usually support new cpu, make system more stable, fixes issues...you don't have to update...but updating may help you with avoiding problems in the future.

    It's just the same as updating hardware drivers...works fine, don't have to update, but if there is an update, it tells you that there is something better or it fixes something.

    Don't bother with standby, this motherboard supports hibernate which is FAR superior to standby mode. I have yet to have any problems using hibernate since i reinstalled windows properly with ACPI management.
