    Score: Arby 1 - Car Interior 0

It was a tough battle. Plastic was destroyed, flesh was cut. But Arby pulled through with a late round knockout!

Anyway, I finally got my lcd in the car. It just barely fits. I just need to make some trim pieces for around the edges out of fiberglass, then I'll be done.

Very nice looking, and I imagine that once he has built the new face, that when its off it wont look like much of anything.

Your work is so beautiful that it makes me hate you. Anyway what size is that Touch LCD and where did you get it?

    Thumbs up

Normally when I hear people want to put a system in their car, or any kind of mod, they always want to have it "as close to factory as possible" or even the ability to always go back to the factory look. But when you have a newer car and take a cutting tool to its interior with the intent of doing irreversible damage in the name of MP3Car'ing...then you truly have balls.

    angle??

Did you have to putz with the contrast and such to be able to view at that vewing angle?? I have a LCD mod built for my Durango, but with this Touch screen I have I can not see the picture well at all....Looks perfect when sitting straighter up

Do you think I could mess with any controls to make it look good laying down?? If not I am planning on selling or making a new mod for my durango

Damn! You all have such good places to put LCD's - I have a vauxhall (GM) cavallier and it hasn't got anywhere to put an lcd - I'm going to have to mount it on an arm over the radio and heater controls in the central panel. Well, I am planning on using a 15" tft monitor... Well there isn't room for a nice looking 6" vga lcd so I thought I might as well mount a larger tft on an arm.
