    Question sound card help

    HI. I've searched the forums and found a lto on hoe to hook up a PC to a a stero. usa an RCA Y cable, I konw that. What I'd like is a cheap sound card with RCA outs onboard..so I dont have to use a "Y" can anyone reccomend one ? I think soundblaster made an ISA one a long tiem ago..but Ican't find any info on it naymore ?

    man your typing is hard to read..... took me three tries to understand your post!

    short answer, no... some of the VERY high end cards have em but in general no.... 3.5mm sockets are all you get. Do what I did and solder RCA panel sockets onto the case of your mp3car box..... or just stick to the 3.5mm to RCA adaptors...

    Itīs right, Creative produced an ISA soundcard with RCA-jacks.
    Itīs the Soundblaster AWE 64 Gold. Iīve bought two of them on ebay. The quality is great and even compared to modern, expensive cards still very good.

    Try to get one on ebay(15$ or even cheaper) or do what Magnetik said. Every other solution e.g. soundcard with a breakout-box is more expensive.
