Looking for a new alternator

I'm cosidering upgrading my alternator on my civic. I've only been able to find alternators for about 350$ with 160 amps. Just wondering if you anyone has any recommendations of places to get alternators.

oh yeah, my car is a 2001 honda civic lx

150 amps, lifetime warranty for $330. I've known several people with alternators from this company. Very hi-quality stuff. In fact I'm planning on picking up one for my truck in the near future.

Nice find, I was looking at that site and their online store on ebay. I didn't notice before that their real site offers a lifetime warranty, while their ebay auctions only come with a two year warranty.

You can also have your stock one rewound.

yeah my stock one is only ~70-75 amps, and im looking for at least that at idle speeds (800 rpm) and 150 amps+ at around 1.5k, so I really don't think having it rewound is an option.
