    HP e-PC. Maximum size of components?

    is anyone aware of the maximum CPU and hard disk that can be used in these units?

    Considering that there are a number of e-PC models with different specs, we have no way of knowing. Have you bothered to check HPOs's website and look for your specific model?

    HDD is pretty ubiquitous. Unless your'e dealing with a really old motherboard, it will likely accept any parallel ATA drive you can throw at it.

    i have 'bothered' to check the HP website yes. Sorry to offend.
    I beleive the models are C10's. Most come with 500 - 866Mhz CPU's, i have never came across any higher but this dosent mean that you cant...

    I have heard rumours of a maximum being 40gb, but i was just looking for some confirmation from somone who might actually know personally.

    I can confirm, I have a working 80 gig in my e-pc c10.

    It can probably handle bigger.

    Max CPU is 1ghz.. detailed in another search here "e-pc"

    May you help me, please?

    Have you done a BIOS-Update on your e-pc?
    What Version ist your BIOS?
    I have also the C10, but my 120 GB HDD dosnīt work.
    My small 30 GH HDD runs without problems.
