    Question motherboard issues

    hi all,
I have this problem with my pc. it seems like everyweek, my video driver fails on me. When i mean fails, i mean that when i start my car, on my monitor, it says no vga signal even though the vga is connected. what i usually do is to run in safe mode, uninstall the vga driver, and use the basic plug n play then restart windows and reinstall the driver. is there a reason why this is always happening? i am guessing it might be some power issues with my psu or a bad motherboard. any suggestions or has this happened to anyone before.? i am using a a-open i855 motherboard. i amm running a lilliput vga touchscreen @ 640*480 32bit @ 60hz? maybe using the wrong resolution? any suggestions on solving this issue? thanks

are you running the monitor on a regulated power supply or just straight off of the battery?

    what PSU are you running?

full specs on your set-up would be helpful.

Does your PC boot and when it gets into Windows the video ouput dies? OR from the time you turn it on it doesnt display anything?

Each is caused by its own problems.

If you are get output and go to boot into Windows and the video output dies it could be that some how your screen resolution is set too high and the monitor is no longer able to read the input. It can also be caused by faulty drivers but this usualy only happens if you have updated/installed new drivers lately.

If you dont get any output at all it sounds to me like either your VGA card has come loose OR you board is failing to post due to memory problems or something like that. This would not be caused by driver issues simply because we are talking PRE-Windows load enviroment.

Your card may also be damaged.
