Hey met,
I'm on a Pentium M with complete different case design, now (better airflow). But with my previous Epias, 150F was quite common. I even saw 165F at full CPU load.
What size hard drive are you running? Is it a 3.5" or 2.5" HDD?
Hi,
I recently purchased a Jetway J7f2we motherboard. This is the 1.5ghz 25W version. It is placed in a VoomPC enclosure with an M2-ATX and a 7200 rpm drive.
The temps I've been exeriencing with it during setup and testing have been worrying me. At room temperature (~72F) the cpu temps were reaching as high as 65C (150F).
The voompc case has one 40mm fan and the board has 2 heatsinks but only one has a fan.
I'm assuming temps this high aren't normal. I'm thinking that I might try buying some Arctic 5 thermal compound and 1 or 2 more fans for the case/board.
I am open to any help or suggestions.
Mike
