Question AGP Cable? Make or buy?

So, I have that Dual VGA AGP Card I bought, and the card fits and works on the board on my bench, but installed, its too tall. So, is there a cable I can buy or make to allow the board to be one the motherboard but not? Know what I mean? If not, ask for some pics and Ill try to sum it up that way? I figure I can make a cable, but how Im going to go about doing that, I dont really know. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm not sure do you mean that you want the card to be parallel with the motherboard? If you do, a riser card is what you're after... Have a look here:

If you want to be able to move the card around, you can use a flexible riser like the one here:

I use a flexible PCI riser and they're great.

Looks like the Flexible Riser is what Im after. Appreciate the help, lets hope its enough! Though I dont know about the 50.00 price tag! Perhaps I can find one cheaper elsewhere, or make one from an old motherboard and old AGP card. Is that possible?

I think you'll find ANYTHING is possible
It does sound like a whole lot of effort, though 50 bucks is a lot of money. I'd say if you have the parts lying around, and can use a soldering iron, give it a go. What's the worst that can happen?

you should be ok. if you don't have wires, use some hdd cables. you will get 40 conductors in one cable so I think that should be enough and it will look lot cleaner.

post your results with pics if you are successful.
