Quick question, ram compatibility of VIA motherboards?

Hi guys, I just finished getting all my parts for my carputer. I have a M12000, I love this board! But I was wondering if a higher memory ram would work? It'll accept up to PC2100, but 1gb of PC2700 is actually cheaper, would it be compatible and just run at the PC2100 speed? Thanks. -Ken

    It might work.
Many times higher speed RAM will work just fine at the lower speed. No guarantee, though.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
