You dunno how damn close to the truth you are... Yep, The Mp3Ford was sold as a parts truck, for $100.00 .. A month ago. All the stereo and radio equipment got ripped out first - was worth 10x the value of the Truck! Mp3Ford is now an GMC Mp3Safari (installed in the very near future) .. Scary huh?

As for equipment worth more than the car. I drive a 1990 LeBaron in pitiful condition. Blue Book value is good but my car won't sell for much because it was never taken care of before i got it...Now my stereo on the other hand....thats why my POS has a sweet alarm...and i've got it rigged so that you cant open the most import part of the car without setting off the alarm unles you know how(the most important part is of course the trunk) all in all my stereo is worth about $1,400 dollars. My car I might get 300-400 for it. Oh and that price doesnt include the computer as its out of the car right now. going thru a rebuild.
