    Talking usb hub with 12v psu

    you need one that is a controller two, so you dont need to plug it into a usb port

    i really dont. i have 2 usb ports built in and could use a few more. ive heard others say the same....

    okay you dont need to have one that doesnt run off usb, but what difference does it matter if it gets it power from 12volt or the actual usb port?

    but one that would allow other ppl's old pentium and amdk6-2and3 with out usb ports would be cool if thats possible.

    PaulyZ: You can go out and buy a USB card for your computer...as long as you have an open PCI slot you can add 2-4 USB ports to any PC with the proper software drivers.
