    Question Disk on chip/disk on module ide

    has anyone used a disk on chip or disk on module in their system? i was thinking of getting a 128mb ide disk on module and putting a 98lite windowsME installation on it. how fast would it really boot?

    Check the software forum. Some people have it booting at 4secs.

    I personally bought a 256 card but for some reason it wont work right. Anyone have probs with the 256 Mr. Flash card?

    I was more interested in the 32pin SIP module that is supposed to go on the Jetway B860T. But you're probably right about going with the Flashdrive.

    I'm using a compactflash to boot to Windows XP Embedded - PM if interested.
    Car: About to change

    Player: VIA Eden, 256Mb RAM, Bootable from 64MB Compactflash, 40GB MP3 HD, IRMan, Wireless Keyboard, 5.6" In-dash TFT, 12v DC-DC, running Windows XP Embedded with Wireless LAN, Mobile Internet, GPS Sat Navigation.

    I found this on EBay. It seems to work with the Jetway B860T's DOC slot. Tack onto that a Taulitin and you've got one powerful, SMALL PC.
