Using velleman K8055 (VM110) USB controller to pop my door poppers & control windows

As the title suggest I am trying to figure out the best way to use the VM110, or any controller, to both activate my solenoid(magnetic pull) door poppers and control the up/down movement of my windows and sunroof all through my computer..and a road runner skin eventually. This plan has brought forth a few questions which I do not have the know how to resolve through my own researching.

I am working with a 4 door BMW E36. All exterior door handles are shaved.

The door "poppers" I have are just solenoid magnetic pullers that open the latch as if you were to lift the handle...There is no room for springs anywhere so the doors only popout a little bit. As a result of this I sometimes have to hold down the button(lifting up the handle) while my passengers pull the door open. This leads to my first question..Can I use this unit in a way were you can push and hold the on-screen button until the door has been pulled open? Likewise I would like to be able to push and hold the roll up and roll down buttons for my windows...like a real switch. Is this all possible?

My final and most important question is this.

Can I run all four I/O door poppers from this unit AND all four up/down (I/O) movements of the windows? What about the sunroof?

Also is their anyway to program "one touch" functionality for the windows and sunroof..ie double clicking the window up button, or hitting a separate button, will bring it all the way up from any position.

Thank you so much for any help ideas with this...James Bond wont have **** on me in a few more years with the help of this site..lol

Next thing is figuring out if this unit can control my climate control...yikes. The aircon unit is freakin expensive in comparison and seams like its the same thing. Hmmm

    thanks again

Nice!! thanks...From that thread I feel its all going to work out but I think I might have to run two cards sense I have a total of 8 or 9 on/off functions to control...not including the A/C controls if I decide to do that...which I will eventually.

    1-sunroof
    4-windows

I am going to call velleman direct on monday to see if that can help me plan this out. What is confusing me is the 5 digital inputs with 8 outputs. I know I am picturing the complete wrong idea of how this board works...

PS...My local electronic shop said this board is $95.00 assembleda(VM110)..yikes

You can use up to 4 VM110 as far as i know.
As for the A/C search here for "aircon" interface.

I see what you want to do, i am new to this forum. I want to know is there any applications already available to use with this board? What would be great is to have wifi (if nearby) and be able to control thru RDP or VNC doorlocks, windows or start up. TZO has a service last I know was $25 a year. TZO software whenever connected to internet reports your Ip, but you would need port fowarding configured thru wifi connection. Unless using a keystroke macro with VNC on carpc, I found a software that learned and recreated inputs including time delay on here yesterday....what you think?

Only problem I found with using more han one K8055 (VM110) is that the interface initialises slowly (well under VB6 it does) when using more than one card. It may be possible to get it faster but havnt found a solution to that yet. It seems to have to close comms with the first card before it can read/write another card so typically setting an output on a card not currently being communicated with takes approximately 2 seconds.
