    Dash Install help!

I am going to mount my LCD right in mydash so I started making the panel and everything. I am using a dremel rto cut everything so it does not leave perfect edges around the outside and I would like to put something on the edges to make it look cleaner. Here are some pictures to show you what I mean, look at the botton right and see how ****ty it looks? I went to hope depot and looked at door lining stuff but nothing worked the way I wanted it to so I was hoping someone has some suggestions.

There's a thread about dash installs - let me see if I can find it...

    Show me your dash/displays!

Go there and look on the second page - there's a wall board trim that may help you.

It's actually on page 4 - Gutter's car...you may have to go to his web site because it looks like his link to the pic is dead.

it does not look ****ty, and probably will not be very noticable at night or on a cloudy day. But, if you wanted to clean it up you could always

1.) have a frame built for it and slip the frame over it this way it covers the edges

2.) using bondo or fiberglass etc (remember to sand and paint)... join the edges all around

3.) have someone properly cut a peice of plexiglass to fit over the spot. Mask the are that the screen is to be seen thru (this way you don't paint over the spot. Paint the rest of it to match the dash and the slip it over that area.
