    Hardware through the ages....

While surfing Google Images for an entry in the How high Can We Go game, I came across this:

Soak in some of the details of that system....

Note the dual eight-inch floppy drives!!
Optional 10MB or 15MB hard disk!
    8-bit computing at a blazing 6mhz!!!
    W00h00!

    God, I feel old....
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I still have an IBM AT hooked up and running. They are reliable. I've had to replace the 5.25" floppy drive though. The 1Mb HD still going strong! I like how the sound is produced from barious chips across the mobo. Not from a single speaker, but actually a bunch of chips that you can tell where the sound comes from depending on the note! Awesome!

I still like looking through my magazines from only as far back 1996, and seeing full page adds for "NEW Technology!" Packard Bell 200Mhz, with 2Gb HD, and 16Mb RAM! OMG, it's super fast! And for the low low low price of $3000!!!!
