    automatic on off

    what do you use to automatically power up your pc's when you turn on your car?

    Jeff's shutdown controller. Do a search on this forum for it. It works perfectly.

    This is misleading. Jeff's shutdown controller will *NOT* power up a PC automatically without some modification.

    check the BIOS for 'power up after power failure' options..... that will make the computer turn on the second it sees power on the PSU...

    yea im new, my pc (shuttle sv24), dvd drive (pioneer slot load), and my screen(5" legacy LCD) will be in this week, i remember seeing jeffs controller but wasnt sure if thats what i needed.

    any help will be great,

    Try searching the Power Supply forum. Several solutions will be found. Personally, I just use a manual switch. It lets me turn the player on and off indipendantly of the car. This has many advantages.
