    Post S3 Savage4 on XP

I have the SV24, and really love the unit.

I am wondering if anyone has been able to get the onboard Savage video to work with WindowsXP (Home)

I have a touch screen LCD, that I have connected to its own video card, but I also want the other card activated too. If I can not have them both running I will disable one. The LCD is only capable of 12 bit. and that does not surfice for DVD, so i have a 7"W LCD for DVD's and such.

(I don't need them to work together)

I just have not been succefull installing the drivers for XP on this card.

    Any help is appreciated!

This probably won't help very much, but my fv24 worked fine with XP ever since I installed it. I am using Pro but i don't think that matters too much. There is another post somewhere that I saw recently that has a link to shuttle's site - It tells you what drivers and bios's are recomended ( I think the post was called something like "information for fv24 owners"). g'luck
FV24 w/ 800mhz celeron & 256ram w/ DVD, WinXP, wireless keyboard/mouse & wireless gamepad, JVC LCD & TV tuner, two pioneer 10"s. Everything crammed in my 98 neon.

switched back to 98....boots up in half the time. I get a 24 second boot time with 98, and 47-1 minute boot with XP.

    Thanks for the help
