    Cd\Dvd Changer to Computer?

Ok. I've searched around and haven't been able to come up with anything.

Is it possible to connect a cd\dvd changer to a computer to use as a drive.
I won't be using a head unit in my car. Just a touchscreen and computer, and will be using mostly mp3. But i was wondering if I could connect a changer to my computer for when I want cd\dvd capabilities. I plan to keep the changer in my glovebox if I can find one small enough.

    Thanks for any help.

You mean like an aftermarket changer? I don't think you'd find anything that gave you like an IDE or USB connection to use it as a 'drive'. I think I saw something that converts M-Bus to USB so you can use an Alpine M-Bus audio changer with your computer, but I might be dreaming.

Unfortunately most car audio/video equipment is very proprietary.

sell it on ebay, and with the money you get, buy a proper dvd-rom drive.
