Hello, i just bought a DVD player and i need to tap into the wires that are in my trunk. These are the wires as followed..can anyone tell me which colors they are..

Yellow wire= constant +12Volt
Black wire=Ground 12 Volt
Red wire=Switched +12volt
Blue wire= 12+ volt remote output.

-It says connect yellow to a constant 12 volt positive source (a connection to the fuse box or direct to the battery is ideal) ...is this wire the red green 12volt supply?

-Connect the red wire to a switched 12 volt positive output. This wire will show positive 12 volts when the key is in the accessory position of the vehicle. Not sure which one this is.

The black wire to a solif metal area...(ground) got this one

-The blue wire can be used to trigger a monitor with a properly installed relay. Not sure if i need this one to be installed....

My LCD is mounted in the front and im going to rewire it with a relay so i dont need that wire.....the thing is i have 2 people telling me 2 different things...one guy srctsc who seems like a complete carputer genius..especially in his bezel design.........he's telling me just to connect the red 12+ switched wire to the white remote wire. He says in the diagram its 12+ switched..however this other guys is saying no dont use that..you can fry a transisitor in your headunit....you need to use a relay for it. I didnt think you needed one though..the dvd player man. says its suppose to come on and off with the car..and i figured the red wire is a remote switch....it connects to the acc and when the car is on..the wire is hot..and when its off..its off. What do you guys think..i wanna put this damn thing in the car already!

thanks
Jason
