    HD tester utility?

    I would be very pleased if someone know any working GNU - or some else open licenced hard disc tester utility for 2.5" IDE/ATA Fujitsu disc (model MHV2040AC)

    And if someone know also some RAM tester utility??

    GM442 is a memory checker.
    HDAT is a HDD checker.

    Both are freeware.
    I suggest putting them on a boot floppy and booting from it to run either of these.
