Replace it with a quiet fan or maybe put a variable resistor in line..? I also heard that the program "speedfan" can control the speed depending on temperature, but i don't know if it would work with your board.
Oops, meant Noisy!
I just installed my new VIA M10K for the first time just for a power trial. No screen, no HDD yet. Just simply to test the psu and the board in its new custom mounting place in my GMC 1500 Pickup. The problem? I had not anticipated that the fan would be as loud as it is. It kind of shocked me to be honest. I think its going to be a problem whereas I had to mount the board directly below the cupholder in the console. I don't have easy access to play around with the BIOS for the board, does anyone know if there is a setting to regulate the speed and how the board would respond if I lowered the fan speed as far as heat goes, this is my first experience w/ this board and w/ Mini ITX in general. Other suggestions are welcome. THanks.

It must be a bad fan because I have the same board and I can't even hear mine spinning.
I doubt its a bad fan...its not bearing noise or anything, its the sound of wind tunneling. Really, you guys can't even hear yours? Not even if its right in front of you andnot in a case?
Tree, thanks, but I haven't seen any quiet replacements for the Mini ITx boards...
