    Is this a good deal??

    Hi

I'm planning on build in my first carputer, and there is a lot to read before buying, and i dont have all the money, so i'll buy parts as i get the money, so there is time for knowledge, i found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ECS-761GX-M754-X...QQcmdZViewItem is this a good deal, or is just normal price.

i'm concern about power cause i have about 1500W from my sound system and i get dimming (have to do some upgrades), this is way i'm looking for some in the mobile area otherwise i'll get some cheap sempron and built my system.

    Thanks

    A quick search finds this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ECS-761GX-M754-v...QQcmdZViewItem

Better deal, as it's an auction and could end for a heck of a lot cheaper for the same setup. $99 is full retail, not really a deal so much as it's an item for sale at retail price. I'm sure you can find it for cheaper if you actually search.

I'd take care of the dimming lights first. If you can feed the pc clean power, chanses are you'll shorten its lifetime pretty hard.

If you want low power, then you need a mobile processor or low power. The via boards are known for low power. Then duo core and pentium m are the next best. Then the amd mobiles. Anything above that and you are drawing quite a bit of power.

Working on that, i'm doing Big 3 and upgrade battery asap.

And want to change my setup for something that take less power but works the same or better.

<keep in mind power isn't everything. A well built low-output sound-system can blow out a sloppy high-power system in a sec

I like amd a lot all my pc's are amd, i buy a pentium M on ebay, but reading here i found some thread were say that the pentium M dont work fine with desktop motherboard.

i get this CPU for really cheap price Intel Pentium M Processor 1.40 GHz 400MHz 1MB SL6F8.

And i like this mobo, http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=246441 but i dont know if it will work with the CPU i get, i dont have much experience on computer parts.

Agree, thats why i'm looking for something new, my setup have 2 10" sealed, and the amp is A/B class, i'll put soon a 12" ported with a D amp. To reduce power and still gets really loud

That wasn't what I mean But yeah, that's an other option. I was referring more to heavy, sealed doorboards; damping; eliminating reflections; that kind of stuff.
