    XenarcDirect.com: anyone bought from them?

Hi. Does anyone have any experience buying CarPCs from *XenarcDirect* ?

They're only a few miles away from my job and if I decide to go the carPC route I was thinking about checking them out. What do you think?

There are definately cheaper places to get Xenarcs. If you search the forums, you will find many threads on xenarc and lilliputs and other manufacturers. A good place to start is the mp3car.com store. They generally have the most common components, so is a good place to compare things. It also supports the forums!
    Yeah google!

Thanks. Xenarc themselves are local. So I could just drive a few miles, walk in and buy their stuff. Would save me shipping costs altogether.

But my main question how well designed/put together are their PCs? Anyone here using xenarc's PCs for your carputer?

Are the PCs from mp3store.com better?

I bought my 700TSV from them. People on here were warning about units you could buy cheaper that didn't have latest firmware updates and invalid warranties and such. What better way to make sure you have a valid warranty than by buying from the manufacturer's outlet? It was worth a few dollars difference to me for the peace of mind.

I bought many parts from mp3car.com and logic supply as well.

Xenarc has excellent customer service and they honor their warranties even after it expires sometimes.
I'm an installer and I've been buying from them for a couple of years, always been good to me.
The product itself it has few issues, overall is better than Lilliput and you get what you pay for. But Lilliputs are not crap.
But paying 1/2 the $$ for a Lilliput, ?? ,,, up to you?! lol
