Best way to play MP3s in your car

    Hi,

I trying to set up my car so that it's able play mp3s. I currently have a CD player (pioneer) with an AUX input adapter. I'm considering hooking up the AUX adapter to a portable mp3s player like Nomad -- via a CD-RB10 Aux input adapter. Question is will this work or do you all have better ideas. I'm new at this so anything will help.

    Thanks!

something is telling me that you are not goint to get much response to this question (*cough *cough). If you havn't caught on et, most of the people here are more or less building a PC for thier car with a HDD that they can play mp3's off of. I'm not going into details here, if you want some examples go to mp3car.com and click examples of mp3 cars.

It will indeed work if all you're concnered about is playing MP3's. We really should change the name of this site to Carputing.COM

Thanks for the responses. Although I knew this site was for building your own systems, just thought I threw the Nomad idea out there. After reading many of the messages, I'm now considering building my own. To be honest I was looking for an easy and quick solution, but what you all have in mind sounds more interesting.

    Thanks!

if you want easy and quick, buy a portable mp3player and a 3.5mm ->2*rca cable and voila.

but then again, who wants easy? =)
