Nice, but smaller form factors than mini-itx is not really anything new.

Smaller is not new indeed, but you have to admit that this is (one of) the smallest mainboard ever.

However, I have yet to see one with heatsink mounted. Knowing previous Via stuff, it might very well spoil the fun. The Nano-ITX looked promising too in the press releases, but in the box there was this bulky piece of aluminum... Bye bye ultra compact build.

PicoITX has was announced a couple months ago. I'm not going to get excited until I see one for sale somewhere.

legacy05gt linked to a story about it back in February: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/hard...-nano-itx.html
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

damn i cant wait that long. but the heatsink shouldnt be too big because these are ment for UMPC's. no room for a huge heatsink.

the heat sink isnt small, it basically overs almost the whole board. THere is a site out there that has pics of it with the heatsink, but I cant remember where I saw it.... Maybe Ars?

Would be great to see a horizontal shot of that heatsink in place - i.e. how high does it sit above the board?
