Usb... pcmcia card better than hub?

    Hey boys

Ive got a query... im running a laptop, but as life is, i dont have enough usb ports... first i grabbed a cheap usb hub off the net and used a regulator to power it, but alas i have many issues with windows and hibernation etc and cant get around them ( have tried devcon with no success )

Im just wondering if it would be better to run a pcmcia usb adapter instead of a usb hub? anyone tried this before?

I don't think it will be any better or worse, really.
A hub is cheaper, by far. And there should be no reason why your USB devices wouldn't work with a powered USB hub.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

I would think pcmcia will be much more reliable. In my experience hubs are annoying and unreliable. And sorting out regulation is also annoying.

It might even help hibernation - no guarentees though
