I usually am not that involved w/ MP3Car, however I figured that I would share a bit of information. The following 2 setups will definately be at PhreakNIC 6.0 in Nashville, TN November 1st - 3rd.

Finally, for those that are familiar with my setup, I have been pushing for more power in my vehicle. I knew that I had pretty much tagged the performance of the system that I had in my car, which was a BioStar Sunflower (M5SAF). I decided that it may be a bit beneficial to design a vehicle mountable case made of aluminum. Pictures of the new case, which in the next few days will become GrandAmp 2.0 can be found here:

Now I have a setup which is fully scalable (lol), since the case can accept any Micro-ATX, or Mini-ITX based motherboard. You will also see that in my setup I am using the PCP & C 12vdc Sleekline Power Supply. I am fully aware of the operating temperature ranges on this PS, so please don't freak. The way I and others feel is that if your system is constantly running at extremely high temps, your bound to have issues with the rest of your hardware in time. This is the primary reason I am developing a cooling module for this case which is capable of cooling ~40° below the ambient temperature...

That's awesome! I live in Nashville. I looking at making a carputer. You know I didn't even know that this convention existed....you learn something everyday.

Is dashpc.com still alive? I can't hit it today.

The conference is un-related to carputers, but it definately was interesting. As to the dashpc site, it seems the apache configuration for the site needs changed a bit. If you attempt to go to http://dashpc.com/ you get a 404, but if you go to http://www.dashpc.com/, it should work...

I live in Memphis, If I have time I'll make the trip as well.
