Has anyone modified their car horn sound?

Has anyone done this using their mp3/car pc?
I'd get the road runner sound for my car.

Some of these car tones crack me up.
I'd use "road runner", "super chicken" and the "batman theme".
Oh year, I would want the "wonder woman" theme too! LOL!

I would do this if I could for $40 or less.
I love cartoons so this really cracks me up.
Imagine Sponge Bob laughing as your drive off, or Scooby lauching.

Ok Darque, I deleted the 2nd post.
Sheesh, you cant blame a girl for trying.

Quit the turbo-posting. Just edit your post to add new information.

    And I wouldn't modify my horn unless I was adding a super-loud air-horn.
I plan on doing that to my wife's tiny little Kia.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

sure he can... its his job to make sure that no one double posts and to make sure the site runs smoothly....

Anyway, I think that it would be a novelty, you prob. wouldn't use it much after a month or so...

On a dare at the April Chicago MP3Car meet, I added missiles and machine guns sounds to my car (the guys wanted something appropriate for my F-15 style CH fighterstick joystick).

Let's see to add a comparable addition to a CarPC you'd need another soundcard feeding a 50-100 watt amp and an outdoor speaker - maybe $50 used, $150 new. Or maybe Fusion Brain into an old portable MP3 player holding the tones hooked up to the amp. Wait a minute, my old Creative MP3 player has a PC interface I could load as an external app, so all I'd need to add is an old amp and an outdoor speaker.

    Something like this?

8 trumpets, 4 notes, 120 PSI from a 3 gal tank, 3 minute recharge, estimated SPL: 135dB. The highways will never be the same...
