Mine is a typical mini-sized, wired keyboard.

The location configuration is as follows:
Driver only: passenger seat / backseat
+ 1 Pass.: backseat
+ 2 Pass.: backseat
+ 3 Pass.: atop or beneath the middle-divider in the backseat / passenger footwell
+ 4 Pass.: passenger footwell

It works well enough It doesn't have alt or tab buttons etc, but I use autoit to map F key combinations to alt tab etc.

There's also a wireless version of the same keyboard that I've seen people mention on other threads here.

where did you get that keyboard?

I'm in the UK so I got it from linitx.com, but they sell them right here

Stored in the glovebox.

is that the foldable one? and is that wireless too?
