How to delay 1 program at startup?

    So here's the deal...

I got this cool add on for WinAmp that pops up the song name over any program everytime a song changes. (Would be highly annoying for the desktop machine, but for the CarPC it's a pretty neat feature)

Only problem is that the program interferes with the program that automatically clicks the OK button on the iGuidance 2 nag screen. So the nag screen pops up and stays until I push the button myself.

Is there a way to delay the WinAmp addon from loading until after iGuidance loads?

I have both programs in the startup directory so Windows loads them at startup.

    thoughts?

    Thanks!

If you make a bat file and place this in it, it will wait 5 seconds and then start notepad. You can make a shortcut to the bat file and set the attributes to run minimized and then it will only show up in the task bar. You can obviously change the time by changing the 5 and the command by putting whatever you want in notepad.exe. Slap the shortcut in the startup folder and you are set.

    Code:
    ping -n 5 localhost > nul
    notepad.exe
you could also whip up a simple autoit script.
    Yeah google!

Well I did this...and it did work great...but then I found a better plugin for Winamp that does the same thing, runs smoother, is more customizable, and that just rules.

    In case anyone's interested...

If you like that one you might want to take a look at Toaster. Been using it for years now, highly configurable, supports audio files and internet streams, and I can size and place it anywhere onscreen to make it look integrated into the frontend. Click on jpg to enlarge.
