That's where I got my inspiration, but I did not want to do anything that I could not reverse, since I want to get rid of it.

    A suggestion...

Have it sprayed with bedliner to match your dash. Mine cost me 50 bucks and was done in half a day. Water won't hurt it, and it will not scratch unless you like take a hammer and chisel to it.

    truck liner

Thats stuff might be a little too much texture. My interior looks nothing like that stuff. Good idea as far as scraching and stuff though! :-)

Ah too bad, it matches the dash on my truck very well. Its hard to tell from the pics actually. I'll take some better ones tonight so you can see.

    texture

The color may be similar, but the texture doesn't match does it? The texcture on bedliners is a lot more course than plastic that I have seen in any dash...

Or did you dulute the stuff somehow??

Where I live there is Speedliner, Line-X, and Rhinoliner. They are similar but have a little different texture. I think Line-X would have matched almost perfectly but they were more expensive. As it is, it matches pretty darn close. I wanted somehting that I could easily take into the house if I was going someplace I was worried about theft, and I also have it set up so I can use it inside as a desktop if I want. I figured paint would chip off too easy and would start to look bad rather quickly. Besides, I am lazy and this was much easier.

Yeah, great idea as for chipping and stuff. I might have to look at the some of the bedliner products around here. Where did you find the stuff at?? I don't think any of them are going to match close enough though

There are franchises locally. I didn't mix or spray it myself.
