Ok, so I was driving to San Diego a few months back and all of a sudden my screen flopped forward. The screws that hold the metal bracket to the lid came loose.
I tightened them back up a bit and went back to my daily routine.
A month later....*flop*. After tightening them up again....then again...then again it looks like I have stripped one of the holes a bit. At least enough to make it not hold well.
So my question is...does anybody else have this problem? I know that I could put in a larger screw but I think that I would run into the same issue a few months down the road with that one coming loose and popping out...
If not, what do you guys/gals suggest that I use to keep the bracket in place?

Okay I know this thread is almost 4 months old, but I saw noone answered. I would use some Loctite. You can get it in different strengths. I would use the removeable kind. You can find it at Lowes or Home Depot. I just installed my screen in this same housing so I will do this as well.
I actually ended up using some superglue so now I'm back in business...
