    warranty

    does doing a car pc mod in your car void the warranty ? cause ur are adding something to the car thats not stock.....anyone care to fill me in?

    Most warranties are voided only when the modification is local to the failure. IE, you won't be blamed for your transmission crapping out if you install a Carpc. But if you accidently trigger your airbag system while running cables for your carpc, the warranty is probably void... make sense?

    thanks, I get it. I've worked on installing radios, amps, tv...etc...i never heard of a air bag deploying because of that...or the airbag light going on.
