I'm getting some vibration from dash/door panels. Do any of the audiophiles here know of any sound files/compact disks that are good for locating and eliminating annoying car noises? I guess I'd need sustained deep bass tones?

why don't you just get yourself an old signal generator???
I am sure that you could pick one up for free from somewhere, just have to be in the right place at the right time...
If you have a computer wired 2 your system, you could use one of those "DIY synth" proggies, such as ABox or Reaktor. Then just use the program to connect a sine oscillator up to the speaker, then tinker with the frequency and volume![]()
