I just crashed my car as well, yesterday morning. Hit a patch of wet leaves, went into a skid and slid off the road. Smashed the side of my car into a telephone pole. No injuries, thank goodness.

The car is right on the border of being totaled. All the autobody guys said it was close, and some random insurance adjuster that was looking at another car said it was pretty close too.

I didn't have the computer in the car though, cause last weekend when I tried to install I burned out the inverter for my LCD, so I pulled the whole computer til I get it working better.

    Good to hear you're OK.

Is anyone else here as ****ed up as me? As soon as Twostep mentioned that he was OK, how many of you were sitting there thinking "HOW'S THE COMPUTER!!??"

    Language.

But yes, I tend to worry more about the car/computer/equipment than the person.

You think I'm trying to mother this forum? Hardly. The issue is that everytime someone swears, I get hit with several private messages and/or "reported post" messages. It's quite annoying in fact.

HOWEVER, there is absolutely no reason to swear on this board. I tend to give the "Off-Topic" forum a lot more leeway, but you must realise that there are many younger people that surf around here. Sure, they will hear more on the schoolyard, but there's no reason for them to hear it here as well. Also bear in mind that there are several "father-son" teams building players (or at least have been in the past) and I'm sure the father doesn't appreciate the profanity.

Believe me, I am far from being an ideal role model and don't intend to pimp myself as such.

I'm also tired of explaining myself when I mention stuff like this.

You know what Aaron? That was an excellent explanation. I'm even editing the above post because of it.
